The long-serving executive oversaw Spurs' move to the club's new home in the year 2019.

American tech entrepreneur Earick has rejected launching a buyout proposal for the North London club.

Tottenham had earlier “unequivocally rejected” an informal expression of interest from a syndicate led by Brooklyn Earick last month and insisted the team was off the market.

However the nation's corporate governance laws stipulated that, after an expression of interest turned down, the group had to submit a bid by 24 October or announce they would not proceed.

Official word of the decision was issued in a announcement released by Spurs to the stock exchange, confirming the team is “not in an takeover phase.”

He posted an picture of the announcement on online platforms, remarking: “It's been a privilege engaging with Tottenham Hotspur and the owners' agents over the past few months.

“I maintain high regard for the club, its executives, and its followers, and hope for continued achievements.”

The club's board expressed gratitude to the group for its “constructive approach” in negotiations and for “honoring the clear position” of the owners that the club is unavailable.

Earick is a ex-disc jockey who also served in space technology for NASA before creating his technology firm, which specializes in innovation, media, athletics and recreation.

Earick's proposal was the third inquiry turned down by the organization's leadership since the abrupt resignation of executive chairman Levy in last month.

In early fall, the club declined proposals from former Newcastle United shareholder Staveley's PCP International Finance Limited and a group led by Dr Roger Kennedy and Ng through Firehawk Holdings.

Levy and his household control about a significant stake of the parent company – which has an majority interest in Spurs.

The executive was the the league's longest-serving chairman and is believed to have earned in excess of fifty million pounds during his almost quarter of a century in the position.

Yet he was also the subject of frequent demonstrations by the club's followers, notably last campaign as domestic league results proved below expectations.

Tottenham secured their initial silverware in 17 years when they overcame United in the May European final.
