Passionate supporters of the actress are demanding that a man who jumped a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A viral footage reveals the individual from Australia bypassing camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the performers walked down a event pathway flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was set to be present on the following morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account includes videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last December.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user wrote.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Past Trauma

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more message on Instagram.

Some fans also criticised event staff at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while others called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In videos shared widely, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of Singapore supporters had lined up to meet the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had gathered in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had waited for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be premiered on 21 November, is the second of a dual adaptation of the acclaimed theatrical production Wicked, which revolves around the surprising friendship between two distinct witches.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Oscar nominations, securing a pair for best costume and artistic direction.
