Movie, this fresh entry will transport Mario to the outer limits of the universe. In his journey, he meets a new princess and a formidable new rival in Bowser Jr., the son of the King of the Koopas. A Cosmic Adventure Inspired by Beloved Titles Much like the Wii console classics that act as its source material, Mario will depart from the well-known surroundings of the Mushroom Kingdom to journey through the cosmos. On his epic voyage, he will meet again some familiar faces, such as the Luma, a breakout star from the previous film. However, it seems Mario and his brother Luigi will confront a new threat in the form of Bowser's angry little boy, who apparently commands metallic abilities. Worth mentioning, the preview for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is not exclusively centered on Galaxy-inspired imagery; it also features references to other beloved games like Super Mario Odyssey and Bowser's Fury. Star-Studded Voice Cast Come Back and Grow The feature will welcome back of the primary vocal talent, with Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek. Apart from the cinematic release, 2026 looks set to be a important time for Mario and his companions. Nintendo confirmed a set of three fresh titles publicly declared for 2026, such as Mario Tennis Fever, a release on Switch 2 of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and a new Yoshi platformer titled Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Release Date Confirmed The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is scheduled to hit theaters on April 3, 2026.
