The Canadian skeleton team were cleared of accusations that they deliberately manipulated a qualifying event for the upcoming Games, thereby denying competitors from other nations a spot to secure their place.

“Existing federation regulations permit National Federations to withdraw athletes from an event at any time,” stated the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF).
